R&D, P&D and Innovation Support Program

Purpose of the Program
The purpose of the R&D, P&D and Innovation Support Program is,
a) Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs who have new ideas and inventions based on science and technology through research and development (R&D) and innovation projects; produce or improve a new product, a new process and/or a new service,
b) Production of original, improved or modified new products by SMEs in order to adapt to changing market demands and technological developments through product development (P&D) activities.

Conditions for Benefiting from the Program
Businesses/entrepreneurs with projects on research, development and innovation, and businesses with projects on product development can benefit from the R&D, P&D and Innovation Support Program.

-Applicants within the scope of R&D and innovation projects; producing a new product/process/service, developing and improving an existing product/process/service, increasing product quality or standard, or developing new cost-reducing techniques, new production technologies, etc. Support is provided for R&D and innovation projects on these subjects.

-Applicants within the scope of P&D projects; Support is provided for their projects to develop an original, improved or modified new product in order to adapt to changing market demands and/or technological developments.

In this context;
a) Resulting from R&D or innovation projects supported by KOSGEB and other public institutions and organizations, foundations established by law or international funds, or
b) Protected by a patent document or
c) Arose as a result of doctoral study or
ç) Technological Product (TÜR) Experience certificate has been obtained or
d) Products or products resulting from R&D and innovation projects completed by businesses located in Domestic Technology Development Zones (TGB) in the region or successfully completed by businesses located in TEKMERs
e) Resulting from R&D activities in public/university research institutes/centers or
f) arising as a result of R&D activities in R&D Centers benefiting from supports and incentives within the scope of the Law on Supporting Research, Development and Design Activities No. 5746 dated 28/2/2008 or
g) Located in medium-high or high technology fields or
g) It is essential to apply for products whose import amount is more than the export amount, according to the last fiscal year data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute.
